Due to the current situation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, there are not plans for us to walk to the Wadleigh Library this year. However, I do have some information to share from Miss Trina, the Head of Children's Services at the Wadleigh: "We are still providing curbside service but will soon (9/10) be offering for patrons to come in by appointment as well. All three of us are working in the Children’s Room so there are usually a couple of us available to help with anything that you might need.
In the Children’s Room we are also passionate about getting books into kids’ hands and have set up some Book Bundles to make it easier. · *We have been offering themed book bundles with 4 books, a parent note with extensions, a craft and a toy since April. They are very popular and the themes are updates weekly. · *In addition, we will soon be offering Early Reader Bundles with 4 leveled readers plus a ring with high frequency word flashcards and a note to parents. · * We are also going to have a few seasonal sensory bins that parents can check out. · * Oh, and did I mention crafts? We have a weekly craft basket out by the door."
